Takedown notices

X-Video-Chat respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the contact address below.

What a valid notice must include

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (URL or profile plus description).
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens after a notice

Valid notices result in removal or disabling of the identified material. The user who posted it may be notified and provided a copy of the notice. Repeat infringers have their accounts terminated.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same contact address, including: identification of the removed material and where it appeared, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable court. We may restore the material unless the original claimant files a court action.
